LYMPHATIC MASSAGE
Lymphathic Drainage, also called Lymph Drainage or Lymphatic Massage, is a medically-based technique using gentle, rhythmical pressure. This subtle and effective massage assists the strong, healthy flow of the lymphatic system. It clears and strengthens the lymphatic vessels and nodes to support both site-specific and whole body detoxification. It helps decrease swelling in the body and stimulates the immune system.
The Lymph System clears away waste and toxins from the cells throughout the body so the cells can receive nutrients from the blood. The lymph system contains many tiny vessels that pump cellular waste and toxins from the cells to the lymph nodes to process the wastes. Lymph movement can be slowed or stopped by stress, surgery, lack of exercise, infections, etc. Physical problems like swelling, enlarged lymph nodes, toxicity and general malaise can result when the lymph system becomes slow and sluggish.
